What started in East London pub back rooms is now heading to turn a whole stadium into a do-si-do dancefloor.
This weekend, Queer Line Dance Club - the joyful, irreverent night bringing line dancing to the LGBTQIA+ community and allies - will bring queer line dancing to Cork for the very first time, as founders Billi and Sinead join CMAT's Euro Country Tour at Virgin Media Park in Cork, supporting the Irish star alongside trad group Biird on Saturday 20th June.

Since launching in London just two years ago, Queer Line Dance Club has become one of the capital's most joyful grassroots success stories, introducing LGBTQIA+ communities and allies to everything from traditional country line dances to routines soundtracked by Chappell Roan, Beyoncé, Cascada and Doechii.
Now, after building a dedicated following through regular events at venues including Walthamstow Trades Hall, MOTH Club and Bishopsgate Institute, Billi and Sinead are taking their boots, belts and best moves across the Irish Sea, bringing queer line dancing to Cork for the very first time.
Billi and Sinead say: "Cork, we're coming for you. Taking the dancefloor to Virgin Media Park feels like a pinch-me moment - a few years ago, we were teaching line dancing in a pub back room, and now we're bringing it to tens of thousands of CMAT fans in Ireland. Queer line dancing belongs everywhere, and we can't wait to prove it to Cork”.
Queer Line Dance Club will support CMAT at Virgin Media Park in Cork on Saturday 20th June, with further appearances planned throughout the summer, including Folkestone Pride, Queer Dance Dayfest and Lost Village Festival.
