The Waterloo Show & Military Fair

The main event takes place the day after Beatings to Quarters, on the 15th September at Wimborne St. Giles. The Waterloo Show and Military Fair works in support of raising money for bereaved Military families, those that have lost their lives in duty to their country. Some of the charities include the Soldiers Charity ( ABF ), Caring for Courage, Scotties Little Soldiers, Combat Stress, SSAFA and the Defence Medical Welfare Service, all worthy causes that make a huge difference to many people's lives.

The Waterloo Show has a real spectacle in the offing too. With massed military bands, pipes and drums, Red Devils, White Helmets, an Action Gun Team, alongside the Blades and Great War Air Display teams, this is a comprehensive display of Military pride all in one gorgeous location. Alongside the marching, bands and air demonstrations, there will also be a display area featuring armoured vehicles, Fire and Rescue services and Army Display teams.

For those that want to get involved in the action, there will be an array of activities on offer, including clay pigeon shooting, archery and paintballing, to bring out the inner soldier in you. Kids will have plenty to be getting on with too, as a Fun Fair, Go Karting, Bouncy Castles and of course, Punch & Judy will all be there. With a huge food and drinks area in place as well, the Waterloo show is shaping up to be an incredible day out for the family, and for anyone with even a fleeting interest in the Military, expect be enthralled.
