John Lennon’s iconic ‘Lost Weekend’ shades and a Cherry Red Gibson famously damaged by Liam Gallagher during Oasis’ fateful Paris spat are some of the items heading to auction next month. Leading memorabilia auction house Propstore has announced its next major live music auction, taking place in London from October 23rd to 24th 2025, and will feature over 550 lots of rare and sought-after music memorabilia with a combined estimated value of more than £3 million.

The first day of the auction will feature in-room bidding open to the public at The Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch, with the second day being an online-only Oasis celebration featuring over 100 lots of memorabilia from the recently reunited Britpop outfit.

Highlights from the upcoming auction include the tinted glasses worn by John Lennon during his stay in Los Angeles, Noel Gallagher’s guitar once damaged by his brother during their ill-fated fallout in 2009, the white fedora worn by Michael Jackson in his ‘Smooth Criminal’ video, and an original pair of Elvis Presley’s shades.

Calling the auction, “a celebration of music history,” Propstore’s music specialist Mark Hochman considered the Oasis auction, “perfectly timed with the band’s return to the stage, and offering fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to own a tangible piece of their enduring story.” You can view the full catalogue here
