Nia Archives has been busy this summer hopping from festival to festival, including All Points East where she supported Chase and Status, and it looks like the summer vibes aren't ending any time soon. Collaborating with jungle producer Clipz, this marks the pair's second track together after 'No Time' made in 2022.
With some heavy Brazilian influence, the song 'Maia Maia', includes a mass of layers, including the duo's signature break beat, and Nia's iconic new-gen jungle sound.
Released under Nia's label, Up Ya Archives, which she launched this year, 'Maia Maia' acts as the second song the feature on Up Ya Archives after 'Get Loose', a collaboration between her and Cheetah.
Commenting on the track, Nia said, "Clipz and I wanted to capture some Brazilian junglist energy with 'Maia Maia', drawing inspiration from legends like DJ Patife and DJ Marky. When we hit the studio, our vision was to create a track that could feel like the soundtrack to the 2026 World Cup."
