Set to feature over 35 original and unseen artworks, it'll be in the city from 9th March to 4th May.

The exhibition, named Picasso: A Legacy, is set to be displayed in Manchester from Monday 9th March until Monday 4th May. Made up of more than 35 original works on paper and ceramics that were created by the artist from the mid 1930s up until his death in 1973. The exhibition will be a guide through the last four decades of the artist's life, encountering his lovers and muses, mythological alter egos, zoomorphic ceramics, and more.
Including complete portfolios and books such as Nature morte aux poires et au pichet (c. 1960) and La Guerre et la paix (1954) will also be on display, as will Portraits of his muses, Femme Endormie (Dormeuse) (1962/63) featuring Marie-Thérèse Walter and Tête de jeune fille 1(1945).
In a press release seen by Manchester Wire, Managing Director of Castle Fine Art Ian Weatherby-Blythe said: “We believe everyone should be able to experience the joy of fine art, and it is a privilege to share this exhibition from one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.
“Picasso: A Legacy is open to all to enjoy at our Manchester, King Street gallery, and features over 35 original artworks from the extraordinary last four decades of Picasso’s life.”
Picasso: A Legacy will be available to view from 10am on Monday 9th March until Monday 4th May 2026 at Castle Fine Art, 12-14 King St, Manchester M2 6AG. It is free to attend and will be open daily.
