A new venue is gracing Bristol this September. Moon Club, a cutting-edge 200-capacity venue, will open in the coming months from the team behind city favourite Lakota in St Paul’s.

Located in the Stokes Croft Brewery Building, the same space that has housed Lakota for over three decades, Moon Club takes its name from a previous club that operated in the same space in the 1980s, and beckons a new era for the city.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Moon Club promises “its own bar, cutting-edge quadraphonic L-Acoustics 360° soundsystem, and reactive lighting design", while being "purpose-built for high-energy club nights, private events, and creative takeovers.”
The venue added that Moon Club isn’t “an add-on or a second room”, but rather, “a fully independent space with its own identity, layout, and mission.” With an expected opening date of September 2025, Moon Club may mark a new chapter in Bristol’s nightlife scene.
