The NTIA has suggested that nightclubs would be the perfect places to host World Cup 2026 fanzones. With next year's tournament being hosted across America, Canada and Mexico, there will be time differences ranging between 5 to 8 hours behind BST.
Therefore, nightclubs, who already have late night operating licenses, would be the ideal place for World Cup screenings next summer. This would help give clubs a much-needed financial boost, especially should England go far in the tournament. In a statement, NTIA CEO Michael Kill said, "For a sector still grappling with financial pressures, the tournament offers a vital commercial opportunity and a chance to bring people together in a way few other settings can achieve.”
