Modeselektor, Django Django, Blawan, plus more announced for Field Day 2012

London electronic music festival Field Day adds new acts to the extensive line-up including Modeselektor, Django Django, and Blawan and announce new date in June.

Pioneering duo Modeselektor, band of the moment Django Django, underground artist Blawan, and Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, are just some of the acts announced for this year’s Field Day festival taking place in London’s Victoria Park. 

Also disclosed is a new date for the festival of Saturday 2nd June which is the same weekend as the Queen’s diamond Jubilee. 

Entering its sixth year, Field Day takes pride in bringing together the best in contemporary and underground electronic music, fusing it with a ‘village fete’ style vibe such as traditional stalls, country pastimes and games. 

Also joining these acts are Sweden’s finest electro-pop band Korallreven, Echo Park’s Julia Holter, and Koreless, with stages hosted by heavyweight promoters Bugged Out!, Eat Your Own Ears and Lanzarote.
