Maverick Sabre, Labrinth and Dappy will headline the outdoor event at Preston's scenic Avenham Park, with support coming from Stooshe, Clement Marfo & The Frontline, The Milk and Abandoman.

The event takes place as part of the ten day Preston City Guild Festival, which is the climax of Preston Guild - the world's only year-long festival, with a history dating back more than 800 years.

Soul star Maverick Sabre will provide a rousing climax to G-fest, with his eerie vocals and hypnotic guitar skills. Like fellow huge stars Labrinth and former N-Dubz front-man Dappy, Maverick Sabre’s appearance at G-Fest follows a stand-out performance at BBC Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend in June.

G-Fest promises to be a highlight of the Preston Guild City Festival, which begins on 31st August and lasts for 10 days. The festival features an exciting programme of concerts and shows, with other highlights including a concert by The Human League, the spectacular Preston Proms in the Park, and a breathtaking circus show by French circus acrobats Cie Bam.
