Massive Attack has teamed up with one of the world’s oldest fan-owned clubs to launch a new 2026 FAI Cup/third jersey. Designed by Massive Attack alongside Bohemian F.C. designers, the jersey pays homage to historic Cuban kits and to the connection between Cuba and Ireland. Created for charity, the football shirt will be shared between the Cuba Solidarity Campaign’s Cuba Vive Medical Aid Appeal and mediCuba-Europa.

Featuring the country's flag and the Irish-Cuban connection, with khaki and black stripes, a red V-neck and a white star, alongside the Massive Attack logo and excerpts from a 1965 speech by Che Guevara. The large white star, taken from the Cuban flag, La Estrella Solitaria, symbolises absolute independence, liberty and sovereignty for the Cuban people.

On the back of the shirt, beneath the collar, is the iconic Massive Attack flame symbol with the words of Che’s father: “In my son’s veins flowed the blood of the Irish rebels.”

The duo spoke about the launch of the shirt, saying, "We’re proud to follow the tradition of musicians who’ve collaborated with Bohemian F.C. to support a fan-owned football club, at the same time drawing attention to important social or political issues. The strip design references the Irish connection to Che Guevara in terms of his ancestry and the iconic two-tone graphic created by Dublin artist Jim Fitzpatrick. It reproduces text of Che’s speeches that underline the importance of international solidarity in resisting colonial and neo-colonial, imperialist aggressions. His words still contain resonance for the political struggles of today."

Daniel Lambert, Chief Commercial Officer at Bohemian F.C., added: "We are delighted to unveil this jersey following months of work with Massive Attack and their team."

Massive Attack follow in the footsteps of Oasis, Fontaines D.C., Kneecap and Jazzy in joining forces with Bohemian F.C. to launch a special kit.

The collaboration follows previous partnerships including Annie Mac, Bob Marley, Fontaines D.C. and KNEECAP, Oasis and Jazzy. Highlighting the 100 per cent fan-owned club based in the Phibsborough neighbourhood of North Dublin.
