Manchesters New Free Techno Night Strictly Trainers

Strictly Trainers has a simple ethos when it comes to a night out.

Quality tunes for FREE. The only thing the resident DJs want you to do is wear your favorite pair of trainers and get on the dance floor while they spin their favorite tunes!

The Resident DJs will be playing you tunes from their genre of choice and anything in between. You'll be hearing Chris Franzkowiak playing a mix of beautifully melodic Tehcno, Progressive and Tech house inspired by the likes of Rodriguez Jr, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Bodzin & Romboy. Jim Yearley getting those trainers shuffling with his set of Wonkey house and techno with tunes from artists such as DJ Touche and James Zabiela. Isomi the mental Japanese Maestro with a genre defying mix of Electro and Techno the likes of which you have necer heard before! Jay Worsley will also be up behind the decks with an inspiring mix of his favorite breaks tunes he's been accumulating for your listening pleasure.

Strictly Trainers has a complete disregard for seriousness and simply want to get you on the dance floor and get you smiling. They have been tearing things up in South Manchester throughout 2011 playing regularly at their own house parties and not one person has left without heavy legs and heavy eyes from too much dancing and excess. The Cranny, the downstairs den at The Nook, was also their home for a while and provided a superb venue for electric nights of sweat filled ceiling thumping from the fans.

They have now secured a venue in the city centre in another basement room known as Bed bar at Tribeca on Sackville street in Manchester. The ceiling may be a little higher but there will be no less thumping fists. Their first event was in December last year which saw many new faces relishing in the jovile atmosphere created by these DJs, that you are just as likely to see in front of the decks as behind. Now you have a chance to catch them playing again on Friday 27th January and if I were you I would take it. The tunes will start at 8 and will be relentless until 3am.

So all there is left to say is get your trainers on and DANCE.
