Manchester Airport reveals Hacienda-themed bar

There's a new homage to the Hacienda in Manchester Airport.

Manchester Airport has revealed the look of its new Terminal 2 bar, which is Hacienda-themed. Paying homage to the former venue with a storied history, it features some famous faces from the city's music scene.

Now streaked in shades of black and yellow, you can also spot Happy Mondays, Oasis and The Stone Roses adorning the walls. It's The Amber Alehouse that has received the renovations, and there will also be a DJ-curated playlist, with some even coming to the bar from time to time.
