Little Dragon's Yukimi releases new single, 'Get It Over'

Yukimi, best known for her work with Little Dragon, has shared new single 'Get It Over', co-written by Canadian musician Saya Grey.

About the track, Yukimi said: "‘Get It Over’ is about being lost in your own inner world, unable to find a way out into the real world, “it’s about feeling too lost to reply or take on responsibilities”.

Out now via Ninja Tune, the track follows Yukimi’s debut solo album For You, which was released in March this year, also on Ninja Tune. 

On her debut album, she entwined elements of jazz, soul, electronic pop, hip-hop, roots, and psychedelia to explore themes of love, loss, feminine energy, and innate resilience. 

Yukimi recently featured on Little Simz’s newest album Lotus on the track ‘Enough’. 

‘Get It Over’ is out now, with more music from Yukimi to come soon.
