The Last Edition

Last Edition are a sax-driven, ska punk quartet from Leicester. Together for nearly a decade, Last Edition have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with the likes of Reel Big Fish, Mad Caddies, Anti-Flag, Sonic Boom 6, Big D and the Kids Table to name just a few.

Heavily influenced by two-tone, and third-wave ska (mostly the bands mentioned above) ? Last Edition?s live set boasts high-energy, hard-hitting ska punk that will leave you with a smile on your face.
In July 2016, Last Edition released their debut album, named ?Best Foot Forward?. The feature track ?Last Orders? has received over 2,000 YouTube hits as well as over 2,000 plays on Spotify since launching. Last Orders has played a massive role in raising Last Edition?s profile, so much so ? that it is to be the lead-track on popular Facebook group ?What do you know about Ska Punk???s compilation CD because of the hard-hitting, attention-grabbing saxophone riff.

Later in 2016, Best Foot Forward was toured around the UK, spanning 15 dates in a little over 4 weeks. Included in those 15 dates, was a slot at Simon Says Festival, Boomtown Festival and a support slot with Big D and the Kids Table at Birmingham O2 Academy.

In 2017 Last Edition were asked back to play Illusive Festival and Boomtown Fair for the 2nd year running. Later in 2017, Last Edition were announced as local heat winners of Fireball?s Hottest Band competition, and subsequently went on to support Reel Big Fish, Mad Caddies and Anti-Flag at local venue Leicester O2 Academy.
