Mercury prize winners Young Fathers have been unveiled to play in their native Scotland at Knockengorroch World Ceilidh's 18th festival taking place from Thursday 21st till Sunday 24th of May

Their alternative hip hop stylings got everyone talking when their DEAD album dropped last year. Influenced from Afro, soul, reggae and opera, the album spawned sublimely crafted wordplay from hits like 'GET UP' below. They entertain the Bo Airigh Green Stage on the Saturday night.

Located on the green hills of Dumfries and Galloway, Knockengorroch World Ceilidh offers activities in abundance for all of the family. Predominantly roots inspired, the music billing hooks in the likes of Mungos Hi Fi and Scratch Perverts as well as traditional Scottish greats such as Peatbog Faeries and Shooglenifty, highlighting the festivals immense cultural offerings.
