King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will return to Manchester's Albert Hall following their mind-melting headline slot at Strange Waves Festival back in September. Even more so, they plan to release five albums in 2017 - holy shit!

They've became a popular fixture in the city and just about anywhere they travel, due to their high octane deliverance of toad-licking sonics that veer the unconventional realms of folk to gamma-ray psych.

The band are prolific in the album stakes, more often than not bringing a new evolution. Their most recent release Nonagon Infinity is their most intensive exploration of rock music and was built to bridge blocks of their set-list into one continuous trip.

In February they will release their ninth studio album, and first of five LPs planned for 2017, Flying Microtonal Banana - check a krautrock slanted belter - 'Rattlesnake' - from that above.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard play Albert Hall on Wednesday 14th June - Find tickets via the box below.

On sale Friday 11th November at 9am.
