Kaytranada announces surprise new album to be released this Friday

All Kaytranada fans come to the front, as the funky Montreal-born DJ has announced he will be releasing a surprise album this Friday (15th August 2025). The announcement was made yesterday (Tuesday 12th August 2025)  as the DJ came to Instagram with the caption 'Oh lord, not a new album called AIN'T NO DAMN WAY! - coming out this Friday???' 

As part of his release, Kayranada dropped his new disco-funk-filled lead single 'SPACE INVADER' at midnight, which will also be featured on his new album. This is the DJ's second release of 2025 after his collaboration with FLO on the song, 'The Mood'. 

Stating that this album is 'strictly for workouts, dancing and studying, and for people that love beats', this might be the well-awaited awaited soundtrack of the summer.
