John Digweed is set to play in Bristol for first time in almost 25 years on Sunday 1st May for Empathys 15th birthday.

Digweed's last appearance was at Lakota in 1994 for a Northern Exposure Tour with Sasha, and now he returns for the hallmark event at the O2 Academy which will also see local lad Nick Warren play.

Renowned for creating mix CDs for Renaissance, Global Underground and Northern Exposure and taking the top spot in the DJ Mag Top 100 in 2001, John Digweed's career is prolific in the truest sense of the word.

His Bedrock brand has become a staple dance music label and his tour diary consistently features some of the world's biggest clubs and festivals across the globe. He is also responsible for the Transitions radio show, which is broadcasted across 45 countries to a staggering weekly audience of over 14 million (listen to an episode above).
