In an announcement on 26th October, Jamie Webster - Liverpool-born indie-folk-rock artist - was revealed as the first headliner for the iconic waterfront concert series, brought to Liverpool by Cream, the brand behind the massive UK festival, Creamfields. Webster is set to bring his raw, authentic lyrics to the Merseyfront stage on Friday 18th June 2027, celebrating the hometown performance alongside fellow Scouser band, The Cheap Thrills.

A second announcement sees Cream Classical, a live fusion of orchestral and dance music, headline the waterfront on Saturday 19th June.

Performed by Kaleidoscope Orchestra and accompanied by Sense of Sound singers, this ear-tingling performance repurposes some of dance music's biggest hits through an arrangement of strings, woodwind and percussion, with harmonic vocals and fantastic light and sound production. Think club classics from legendary Liverpool club, Cream - but elevated.

On the Waterfront celebrates all things music, spotlighting the city's globally renowned musical legacy, and Cream Classical wraps all of that into one huge performance.
