Few TV dramas have left a mark on us quite like It's A Sin.

Russell T Davies' heartbreaking, joyful and era-defining series, centred on a group of queer friends navigating the AIDS crisis in 1980s London, became one of the most important pieces of British television in recent memory, and now it's making the leap from screen to stage, reimagined as a powerful dance production from Rambert and Factory International that lands at Manchester's Aviva Studios from 16th - 27th February 2027.

Tickets go on general sale from 4th June, with priority booking available now for Factory International members. Find more information - HERE

Directed and choreographed by Rambert Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer, the production brings Davies' beloved characters to the stage, following Ritchie, Roscoe, Colin and Jill as they navigate life, identity and community in 1980s London.

As the AIDS crisis begins to unfold around them, the production promises to weave together the joy, freedom and friendship that defined the original series with the devastating realities that followed, asking who gets remembered, who gets left behind, and how we choose to live now.

Presented in The Hall at Aviva Studios, Davies returns as Executive Producer, alongside Pet Shop Boys and Glyn Fussell, while the production is co-produced with partners including Sadler's Wells, Wales Millennium Centre and Capital Theatres.

The production has already given audiences a first glimpse too, with a globally exclusive preview performance taking place at Mighty Hoopla over the weekend, just before Scissor Sisters took to the stage. Judging by the reaction from the crowd, this one is already shaping up to be one of 2027's most anticipated theatre events.

It's A Sin runs at Aviva Studios from 16th – 27th February 2027, with tickets starting from £20 for previews and £25 for standard performances. General sale begins on 4th June.
