Independent Venue Week Spotlight: Sneaky Pete's, Edinburgh

Love local independent music venues? So do we! That’s why, in celebration of Independent Venue Week, which runs from the 30th of Jan - 5th of Feb this year, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the best independent venues across the UK. 

This time we’re talking about Edinburgh’s much-loved Sneaky Pete’s. Let’s take a look… 

Sneaky Pete’s is a tiny venue in Edinburgh’s Old Town that welcomes “open minds with open ears.”

Tickets for Tellison | Thursday 16th February

Open and bustling every night, you can catch a variety of sweaty, intimate, rowdy performances there, whether it be the hottest budding indie outfits or incredible DJs spinning tunes until the early hours. 

If you haven’t been before, with a capacity of just 100 people, Sneaky Pete’s may seem… insignificant. But the famous little venue has countless die-hard fans and has earned an incredible reputation, even earning a spot on DJ Mags Top 100 Clubs list in 2021. Considering other entries to the list included superclubs in Ibiza and legendary clubs in London, Berlin, and other huge party places across the globe, it goes to show how incredible Sneaky Pete’s really is.

Tickets for Rosellas | Saturday 25th March

Effortlessly creating a carefree, warming vibe, gigs here at typically 14+, starting at 7 pm, and club nights are 18+ and kick off at 11 pm.

An inclusive grassroots venue, Pete’s is also a member of the Music Venues Alliance and is passionate about safeguarding the future of music in the city and beyond.
