Sept 19th 2014 sees the Starship Imaginarium touch down for the first time at the Prince of wales Brixton. This South London location formerly known as the Brixton Clubhouse and before that Dex has played host to many London parties both commerivcal and alternative and we are pleased to take it over for an evening and give it the Imaginarium treatment.

With an unprecedented breadth and depth of DJ and performer bookings and even more custom decor founders Rob Voodoo and Lynch the Hangman aka the Voodoo Lynch Mob are confident they are bringing another banging show to South London on the 19th of Sept.

Hailed as the ?young Torture Garden? Imaginarium is wild playground of fantastic costumes, interactive performance, twisted burlesque, alternative circus and crushing bass music with a resolutely down-to-earth ethos. Dress code is enforced but the demographic is massively varied in age, background, race and culture.

Musically highly diverse with one heavier room focusing on DNB, Electro, Future Jungle and Breaks and the other on House and Techno this circus themed Imaginarium also has a large contingent of the capitals top alternative and extreme theatrical and physical performers.

Imaginarium conceive all their main events as episodes in a television sci-fi serial. Whether it be dealing with an invasion of hell-spawn, investigating a rainforest covered jungle planet or in this case rendezvousing with an intergalactic travelling circus there is always more narrative for the committed fans to get involved with.

Known primarily for introducing a hefty dose of kink to parties that are brimming with good vibes, unpretentious characters and genuine old-skool dj talent Imaginarium has been slowly carving a name out in the underground and kinky party scenes. As they approach the tenth major voyage of Starship Imaginarium the science fiction themed fancy dress bacchanal now claims that most well-worn of epithets ?London?s best kept secret?.
