Hot 8 Brass Band to bring New Orleans to the UK

New Orleans collective the Hot 8 Brass Band come to the UK to showcase their jazz style covers of popular songs across the country as part of carnival style party Fiesta Bombarda.

Formed in 1995, the Hot 8 Brass Band manage to successfully fuse hip-hop, funk and jazz styles with their authentic New Orleans brass sounds over 20 years since their inception, gloriously covering the likes of Marvin Gaye and Snoop Dogg in the process (read our album review of the group's Vicennial - 20 Years Of The Hot 8 Brass Band).

Known for playing in second line parades, jazz funerals as well as regularly in local clubs in their hometown of New Orleans, the Hot 8 Brass Band have also had the honour of touring Japan, the UK and Europe. They're coming back to these shores to bring a bit of New Orleans jazz culture and a feel of celebration to cities across the country.
