GRRRL ZINE FAIR

Cult Punk Publishing Party!

Grrrl Zine Fair is run by local artist Lu Williams. It is a party celebrating DIY creativity with a political undercurrent. It celebrates creative output made by women, lgbtqi and non binary people but welcomes all genders. Grrrl aims to create an inclusive environment free from harassment. Grrrl has hosted parties in Oxford and London, with Lu being super excited to put a Grrrl on in her home town.

For Village Green, Grrrl is creating a fair with over 40 self publishers, an art exhibition, and a line up of some of the most exciting female fonted or lgbtqi bands this year, as well as DJs. Grrrl is collaborating with In Situ, a design collective who have built installations for Tate Modern and Somerset House. Together they will be building an immersive library with projections and a workshop space. This workshop space will host Arts Sisterhood UK, an arts therapy organisation, Shadow Sistxrs, a self defence and magic workshop, Portable Print Studio where attendees can take away their own personalised tote bags, as well as Guitar and Drum workshops for beginners.
