Gorgon City ft. MNEK 'Ready For Your Love' (Video)

We love a bit of Gorgon City round these parts. The bass driven duo were the breakthrough act of 2013, ensnaring an accolade implying so at the Bass Music Awards and bringing their infectious shiny garage sound to dancefloors across Europe with frequent appearances at a host of premier UK clubs and festivals.

Their latest release sees them teaming up with the ridiculously talented songwriter MNEK, who as well as being the other voice alongside A*M*E on Duke Dumont's number one smash 'Need You (100%)' has worked with other dance music royalty in the shape of Disclosure and Rudimental, as well as pop mainstays Little Mix, Olly Murs and Duran Duran.

'Ready for Your Love' sees MNEK hogging the vocal limelight, and you can watch the brand new video for the track above which is sure to increase the heat behind the duo. Effortlessly sashaying between the pop and club worlds, its the kind of record that makes just as much sense on the radio as it does the dancefloor, hence high profile support already from Mistajam, Annie Mac and Zane Lowe. It's out 26th January.

Gorgon City have a cluster of shows coming up where you can catch the duo bringing their DJ set to the fore, probably just before they hit the stratospheric heights their talent quite clearly suggests they will. January 18th they are in Canterbury for CSP presents CODE, whilst on February 8th they hit the live rooms in Chester, both headline stints.

If you can make it to the capital on the 18th however they return to a clubnight which they blessed on numerous occasions in 2013, Circus. Shoring up at Egg London, they join Hannah Wants and Oliver $, and of course Yousef, for another bass led ripple through Circus' panoramic view on house music.
