Going to Parklife Festival? Well, you'll be needing the official Parklife app then, won't you.

Now available totally free from the app store, the Parklife Weekender app will be your best friend in the lead up to the festival, and over the Parklife weekend itself. Forget bulky, beer stained programmes and maps, because the app will bring everything you'll need to know over the Parklife weekend straight to the palm of your hand.

The app contains the complete line-up, with full artist profiles and stage times (announced nearer the time) - as well as full event details including opening times, music genres, and nearby hotels and bars, which are all plotted on a map.

You can also use it to keep up to date with all the latest Parklife news and twitter posts - and there'll be constant updates during the festival to bring you  all the backstage gossip and bits and pieces from around the festival site.

The app integrates with your Skiddle profile too - and you can even use it to buy your Parklife tickets straight from your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. But hurry, because with tickets very close to selling out you've not got long left to secure your place at what's set to be one of the highlights of Summer 2011.

So download your app now, and be the first to hear about all things Parklife!

Get the free Parklife Weekender app here or search for 'Parklife Weekender' in the app store.
