Get Onit Events presents DJ Snoopadelic

Manchester's Albert Hall sees another major star arrive this weekend in the shape of hip hop legend, and we mean legend in every sense of the word - Snoop Dogg.

The D, O double G has since the early nineties proven himself to be one of the most gifted, creative and charismatic players in the rap scene, with every album he releases invariably making its way to the top of global charts. His super laid back, cool-as-hell delivery has been the centrepiece of some of hip hop's most seminal records. 

'Who Am I (What's My Name)' (above) saw the star arrive in emphatic fashion, becoming one of top ten most-played songs in the United States, with the album it was lifted off, Doggystyle, staying on the billboard charts for several months.

Since then, records like 'Drop It Like It's Hot' and numerous collaborations with the likes of Afrojack and Diplo, as well as his timeless chemistry with Dr Dre, have seen him constantly evolve his sound, even exploring reggae as Snoop Lion and most recently funk as Snoopzilla.

He lands at Albert Hall on August 10th for a three hour DJ set under the pseudonym DJ Snoopadelic that will see him plunder a myriad of genres and weave together an enormous selection of his favourite cuts.
