Funkademia De La Sol is coming!

So it's our 21st birthday soon and we thought we'd do something a bit special to celebrate being Manchester's longest running club night. In fact, it's probably the most exciting thing we've done since we kicked off 21 years ago at the old Boardwalk, we are launching a Funkademia Festival!

Funkademia De la Sol - An Ibizan weekender of soul-funk, sunshine and sunsets in summer 2017.

We've been working on this for some years and have looked at several venues around Europe but kept getting drawn back to our first love - Ibiza. Again we looked at several venues but decided to get away from the nonsense that is San Antonio and the extortionate alternatives and settled for a beautiful, off the beaten track spot - Cala Vadella.

It?s not gonna be a huge rave but more of a discerning, boutique kinda affair and there will be no on-site entry so it's just our regular Funkademia people and friends. 4 days and nights of solid soul-funk with nice people in a great location. Tickets, therefore, are advance only and will be strictly limited, so we expect it to sell out sharpish.
