Undoubtedly one of the coolest venues in Manchester is Underdog, a basement club that lies underneath Black Dog New Wakefield Street, which since it opened has quickly become the hottest venue for house, disco, and techno in the city.

26th of April sees a welcome new night and new brand, as 'Frank' takes centre stage in the underground club.

To celebrate the occasion, the organizers at Frank have enticed the mighty Dale Howard, one of the house music scenes fastest up and coming stars. His characteristic combination of bouncing sub bass lines, soul samples, classic house organs, all with a shuffling percussive swing has been delighting audiences, DJs and critics alike. With industry heavyweights like Steve Lawler, Luciano, M.A.N.D.Y, Dusky and Dubfire giving him huge support; and himself with a prolific catalogue of releases on labels like Off Recordings, Inner City, Morris Audio, Noir Music, Large Music and Klangkultur Schallplatten, Dale Howard in a very short time has managed what it takes many others years to achieve, and has got himself right into the epicentre of forward-thinking house music. Don’t miss your chance to see one of the most exciting up and coming house DJs in recent history.

The night will also see one of mute!’s favourite DJs, Keiran Sharples provide devastating support to Dale Howard, alongside Stevie Mulgrave and Sian Bennett, Manchester mainstays and damn fine DJs to boot.

April 26th is going to be something special, as Frank stamps its mark on the house music scene in Manchester, and shows the rest of the city how it’s done.
