Opera megastars Il Divo are set for a run of gigs across some of Britain's most beautiful stately homes and castles during a packed July where they will doubtless display their spine tingling vocals in incredible surroundings.

Il Divo were signed to Simon Cowell's Syco Records following a worldwide search for singers that took Cowell almost three years, after the music mogul had been inspired by listening to the Three Tenors and wished to create his own group of multinational singers.

The group, made up of Urs Bühler of Switzerland, Spain's Carlos Marín , David Miller from the USA and France's Sébastien Izambard have enjoyed unqualified success over the years and as well as selling over 30 million albums and picking up countless awards, they have also been recognised by the Guinness World Records as being the most commercially successful, classical-crossover group in international music history.
