Having held its own in the London clubbing scene for the past nine years, ElectronicSessions has continued to thrive through its dedication to throwing diverse, cutting edge line ups that perpetually rank it above its peers. Its bi-monthly Ministry Of Sound residency has been a constant source of joy for London clubbers too, whilst its New year's Eve parties border on the legendary.

To celebrate its ninth year of operations, ElectronicSessions undertakes two reliably storming parties over the weekend of the 7th and 8th of March.

Part One Boat Party with Weiss

Setting sail on the Golden Flame Boat on March 7th, real house music ambassador Weiss jumps aboard to ply the seaworthy revellers with his intelligent, groove heavy DJ sets. With Toolroom last year trimming its artist roster and resetting (read about that here), Weiss was one of the few artists to stay locked in to mark knight's world-beating label.

With his work adored by everyone from Green Velvet to Kenny Dope, as well as young guns like Hot Since 82 and Gorgon City, Weiss continues to rise through the ranks of the house music elite with a sound that continues to do damage at raves across the globe (hear why above). Tickets are available here.

Part Two Guy J

The following night, ElectronicSessions hook in Bedrock Records favourite Guy J to direct the second half of the birthday madness at Clapham's Gigalum (check out his recent mix above).

The Isreali producer's mastery of atmosphere, melody and texture combined with unbridled dancefloor savvy really sets him apart from the crowd, and let's be frank, if John Digweed is falling over himself to sign your records, you're definitely doing something right. Head here for your tickets.
