Disko Haus have presented their 1st Birthday line up featuring Ejeca alongside Bread on Toast, Henry Bonsor b2b Seb Cole, G Whiz and Pluralist. It?s been an amazing year of parties at Amusement 13 for Disko Haus and for their 1st Birthday, we decided to bring one of Belfast?s kingpins to Brum, Ejeca. The student DJ collective have hosted big names in recent months, with two massive parties featuring the likes of Big Miz, Tommy Vercetti and Ron Basejam.

Initially starting off as a Monday student club night, Disko Haus' rise has been remarkable within the last 12 months. Disko Haus V: Sunset Sessions was one of Birmingham's summer club highlights and the booking of Ejeca adds strong anticipation for their colourful 1st Birthday Party.

Ejeca is one of Belfast?s best musical exports in recent years from the growing scene in Northern Ireland. His down to earth attitude has allowed him to gain recognition from his musical peers and with constant solid releases it?s always been music first, hype later. From a young age his fascination with production culminated in early releases such as the limited edition, vinyl-only Tusk Wax Five EP, and his work with fellow Northern Irish, Bicep on AUS. After 12 long years of hard work, his big break finally came when two of his tracks were named 'Essential Tune of the Week' on Pete Tong?s BBC Radio 1 show.

Ejeca is now a firmly established name as a reputable purveyor of high quality house and techno, and with his label Exploris now on their twelfth release it?s safe to say his selection of tracks is always on the pulse. His recent releases on DJ Haus?s Unknown To The Unknown, Remix for Addison Groove & Jeremy Olander, Sasha?s Last Night On Earth, BPitch! Control, Poker Flat and official remix for Inner City?s ?Good Life? hasshown his varying side from from the melodic to driving sides of techno. It?s safe to say Ejeca has got his hands full as he maintains a worldwide DJ tour schedule, full of releases and his Trance Wax alias kicking up a storm throughout key tastemaker and music purveyors.

Ejeca's last appearance in Birmingham was at Chapter Festival performing alongside the likes of Bicep, Seth Troxler, Patrick Topping and many more. Now the starman of the show, he will accompanied by the hottest rising stars of the Birmingham club scene.

Earlier this year, Disko Haus residents Neel D and DKP combined forces to form Bread on Toast. Since then they have appeared at Carnival Magnifico, Tektu, Triple Cooked, VOID, Crib, Portal and more, where they have played alongside heavyweight DJs including Claude Vonstroke and De La Swing. With upcoming releases on Datagroove Records, Spira Music and East Project, Bread On Toast are a serious new talent to the Midlands and have been conjuring a storm over the past 12 months.

Further talent includes Henry Bonsor, bringing his Spanish roots to Birmingham delivering a genre blending experience by exploring a broad range of styles and beats. Recently moving to Brighton, he hosts a weekly radio show and is a member of the DJ collective De la Disque. Joining Henry is Seb Cole, a former school mate, who will bring some Scandinavian flavours to the night.A current intern at Dream Diary Records in Brixton, his fusion of intricate techno beats and electro-infused soundscapes found in his own tracks demonstrate his mature ability as a musician.

Alongside Pluralist and G Whiz, the mix of student talent alongside Ejeca's masterful skills makes this a night not to be missed. Check out the facebook event through this link.
