Edinburgh's Liquid Rooms is shaping up to launch a very special Halloween extravaganza on November 1st, with premium disco selector Dimitri From Paris lined up to take charge of proceedings.

As one of the world's greatest disco authorities, Dimitri From Paris has carved a career by plundering the sounds of seventies era disco and funk, the sounds that have spawned the genre we know and love as house music. His many productions including his debut album saw him go even further and delve into everything from jazz to old movie soundtracks, via samba, electro and house.

The past decade though has witnessed Dimitri returned to his roots, and really stamp his authority on the disco scene, with his many ventures to the Playboy Mansion and timeless remixes for the likes of Bjork and New Order earning him a legion of fans.

The suave selector will deliver a killer selection of disco classics, obscurities and edits (as heard in his Essential Mix above) as the takes the reigns for what will be one of the Edinburgh's classiest Halloween soirees.
