Renowned for hooking some of the worlds biggest deals in trance and EDM, Digital Society has in its career been bringing world class DJs to the north of England, and throwing some of the most enduring parties in recent memory. The likes of Gareth Emery, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, Sander Van Doorn and Judge Jules are no strangers to the Leeds promoters, as is Paul Van Dyk, who once again graces The o2 Academy in Leeds on 6th December with his own brand of trance, EDM, and big room house, as his third Politics of Dancing tour nears its conclusion in the UK.
Paul Van Dyk Live at Evolution
Highlighted by a worldwide tour that has dazzled audiences, Paul Van Dyk is still one of the most potent artists to be doing the rounds in the world of big room house and trance. Whilst recent times have seen him edge away from his trance roots and take on a heavier sound akin to EDM, Paul Van Dyk’s irresistably cutting edge music policy and forward thinking live innovation have continued to make him one of the scenes most trendsetting DJs. As the label boss of Vandit, one of the longest running dance music labels out there, Paul has signed and championed the careers of producers like Armin Van Buuren, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Lange, Gareth Emery and Alex M.O.R.P.H. amongst many more. His keen ear for sussing the future of dance music has made him one of the biggest and most important DJs in electronic music for the last 15 years.
His live sets are a stunning masterclass in powerful, beat driven EDM, dispatched with more passion and skill than you’re likely to witness elsewhere. Paul Van Dyk never fails to deliver to his audience, and we expect nothing less on 6th December, when he lays down a three hour set of the very best in dance music wares.
Max Graham on ASOT 550
Joining him will be the ever impressive trance and tech trance impresario John Askew (check out his latest podcast here) and Montreal based Max Graham, who since returning to his trance roots back in 2010 has been on a wicked run of form, smashing out stunning records that have re-asserted his status as one of trance and progressive's brightest stars.
