Here's a press release for our latest party in Sheffield
Departure announces a newest adventure with an expansion across the Pennines to Sheffield where it kits out a warehouse with Funkion One's to celebrate its second birthday on Friday 1st March. Departure resident Oliver Drops described the choice of Sheffield to host their latest event as, a simple one as the city has, a unique and expanding scene full of amazing people in addition to having an exceptional choice of new venues to use. Joining them for this party are Audiojack and Darrius Syrossian who are supported by residents Oliver Drops and Thomas Olivier with Mali b2b LFM and Kolo & Dyze. In The Box the residents from two of Sheffield leading underground nights, De:Bug and Ryad battle it out with a special unannounced guest.
As part of the event the promoters of Departure will be taking the opportunity to raise awareness of their newest undertaking into the Italian Alps where they form part of the management team behind Vertigo Festival. Billed as Europes highest altitude summer dance festival Vertigo Festival will be held in the remote alpine village of Pragelato taking advantage of the hot Italian summer climate to offer electronic music in a unique environment.
