Day party with live music and a family-friendly rave to take place in Greater Manchester

Stockport town centre will be hosting an all-day event at the ne Weir Mill complex with a local line-up. 

Free Weir Live is a new event that will take place under Stockport’s viaduct on Saturday, October 3, from 11:30 am - 10 pm. The free event will feature live music, food and drinks, two stages and a rave from Stockport’s local talent. The lineup features Pop Vox Choir, Ste Macca, A Certain Radio, and more. 

The day party has been organised by Capital&Centric, a property developer behind Weir Mill. Previously a historical grade II-listed cotton mill, it has now been transformed into a complex of new restaurants, bars, cafes and shops

On Instagram they shared, “Local DJs doing what they do best, incredible food and drinks from some of Stockport’s finest indie spots at Weir Mill, and a whole load of brilliant people turning up to look after you.”

The event is free and open to the public with no tickets required. Donations are accepted, with all proceeds going to the Greater Manchester Mayor’s charity.
