DJ's Welly and Nipper return to Leeds only at Rejuvenation - 2nd June!

Saturday 2nd June 2012 sees REJUVENATION move to the MINT CLUB, Leeds for its third old skool installment. Taking place on The Queen's Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend, DJ royalty once again graces the one's and two's for a Right Royal Rave.

This Bank Holiday also sees Welly and Nipper return to UK shores for the first time since The Ultimate Revival at Bowlers in early December 2011 as they prepare to play for various events over the weekend but Rejuvenation will be the only place you can catch them both together at the same venue for a full on, no holds barred old skool party.

As Welly said "This one is not to be missed if your into Old Skool! You don't know how long it will be before myself an Nipper share the decks together again, if at all! You have been warned!"

The mix and scratch masters often played at different Leeds venues back in the early to mid 90's but looking back through the flyer archives the only time we've found Welly and Nipper on the same bill in the area was for a 'Life' event held at The Maestro in Bradford in May 1994 so having them playing together could be a first for Leeds!!

Combined with the DJ talents of Greenbins (Rejuvenation Resident DJ) and Absolute who returns to Leeds after playing Rejuve in March and afterwards said "It's been a long time since I've played at a night with such a happy, party atmosphere with a proper up for it crowd that captures that old skool vibe I remember from back in the day. Buzzing to be invited back to Rejuvenation to smash it again!!!".

Also on the line up and fresh from his set at Bowlers and various other events around the North of England is the highly talented DJ legend Matt Bell. Rejuvenation welcomes back to Leeds John J. Jepson who has played at hundreds of venues and events across the U.K. including the Blackburn & Revenge Warehouse Parties, Monroes, Zone, Bowlers, Legends, ARK, Wigan Pier, Angels, Up Front Parties, Insomnia and many, many more.

Another first will see the McNally brothers, Ant & Phil, play a 'back to back' set as they battle in the mix completing the line up we welcome local DJ Chris Anakin who regularly hosts and DJ's his own old skool night in Harrogate. So if you love your old skool anthems and retro tunes then this is a night not to be missed. You are guaranteed a really authentic night of classic house, and a warm friendly atmosphere. As one of the 'Rejuvenites' said "Its a close as you can get to back in the day!!!"

And not forgetting the award winning venue... The Mint Club in Leeds which underwent a £500,000 refurbishment. FUNKTION-ONE installed the sound. A cutting edge lighting system called a 'DISCO PANEL' which features in the 'Watergate' club, Berlin has been installed. The first LED roof of it's kind in this country which lights up the whole dance floor with amazing strobe patterns and effects. On top of this the bars, DJ booth, seating areas, dance floor, toilets, and outside area have all been up-graded to a very high specification. The stage is set for the Mint to be one of the best clubs around...a dj's paradise, a punters dream.

Doors open at 10pm and the party continues through til 5am. Don't forget to get there early as the first 250 entrants will receive a FREE limited edition CD mixed exclusively for Rejuvenation by DJ Welly.

Tickets are priced at £10 +bf (we know... jaw on the floor time) and a tenner gets you all this!!! Limited tickets will be available on the door but we recommend you purchase your tickets NOW as the club will close it's doors as soon as capacity is reached.

Oh and if you're in Leeds early why not get to the free pre-party (pRejuvenation) taking place at the Bed club in Leeds from 7 til 10pm and come and meet up before the main event. DJ's Clarkie, Hikky B and K2 will be spinning the tunes and getting you in the mood for what is shaping up to be one hell of a night.
