Few have mastered the art of blending emotion with club-ready energy like DJ Seinfeld, and now he’s returning, armed with a new single, ‘Everything U’, from his upcoming third studio album, If This Is It, landing on 5th June via Ninja Tune.

‘Everything U’, out today, is already making waves for the Malmö-born producer, premiering as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record. It’s a track that starts wistful and introspective before building into something made for the dancefloor, giving an early taste of what’s to come from the full record.

Everything U is available to stream now, with If This Is It landing on 5th June. Pre-save and pre-order the album now!

Speaking on the album, Seinfeld said: “If This Is It is about reflecting on the past without dwelling in it, and finding harmony in restlessness. Through writing it, I’ve tried to turn long-held anxieties into acceptance, and I hope listeners can take their own meaning from it”.

On the single, he added: “I wrote ‘Everything U’ more or less in a couple of hours. I'm not really sure how people will react to it, but it captures the nostalgia and dancefloor elements of the album. It just came impulsively”.

Across its 12 tracks, If This Is It leans into themes of letting go and living in the moment, shaped by a long-running tension between restlessness and contentment.

From an early age, Seinfeld struggled to fully settle into the present, often missing home while on family holidays. “It became a running theme with my parents, lamenting my inability to enjoy where we were” he adds, “Fast-forward to now, and that restlessness is still intact, especially with my job being what it is and travelling so often - I find myself always looking to go somewhere else, but whatever I’m looking for is never really there, and where I am is no good unless I’m able to leave… This realisation isn’t something new, but I’ve had issues accepting it. It’s a sense of anxiety in the present.”

It's a feeling that carries deeply through to both recent single 'U Can’t Come Home' - which sees TS Graye’s vocals and voicemails drift over hazy synths and keys - and ‘Everything U,’ and we can't wait to peel back the album's layers to see where else it exists.
