Sweden's lo-fi house pioneer and all-around groove-inducer, DJ Seinfeld, has returned with his first solo release since 2024, the long-awaited ‘Plush’, out now on Ninja Tune.
An unreleased fan favourite for nearly two years, the track has been a staple of Seinfeld’s globe-trotting DJ sets. It became one of the most requested IDs from his 2023 Mixmag Lab. Fans were prompted to create and share ripped versions online, a task no longer required.
You can listen to ‘Plush’ below now, or stream it across all platforms.
Speaking on the track’s journey, DJ Seinfeld said: “I wrote ‘Plush’ back in 2022 and played a couple of different versions of it throughout the years. I couldn’t really figure out what I felt was missing, so I binned it for a bit. Then I saw a couple of ripped versions on SoundCloud around the same time I was getting a lot of messages about it, so I decided to give it another go. Eventually, I managed to bring it to a point where I’m really happy with it and enjoy playing it out”.
The release follows Seinfeld’s recent run of high-profile collaborations, including ‘The Right’ with Confidence Man, released in summer 2025 and now surpassing three million streams, a track that followed their previous viral collaboration, the 2023 anthem ‘Now U Do’, which racked up over 50 million streams and landed on the BBC Radio 1 A-List.
With ‘Plush’ finally seeing an official release and more new music confirmed on the way, Seinfeld’s solo return reignites his beloved club-focused production that fans have been waiting to hear again for some time.
