Dance music behemoths, Cream Classical have recently unveiled plans to bring a brand-new one-day music festival to Liverpool's waterfront, in the autumn this year.
Scheduled to take place on Saturday 18th September 2021, Cream Classical on the Waterfront will see legendary dance duo K-Klass curate a hair-raising set list of renowned tracks performed by the magnificent Kaleidoscope Orchestra this September, with an array of supporting DJ performances from the likes of Basement Jaxx, Faithless, Seb Fontaine and Tall Paul. More artists yet to be announced
Having staged an unprecedented series of sell out shows since its inception in 2016, such as Cream Classical in The Park and Cream Classical Live from Liverpool Cathedral back in 2019, this summer’s return event will see the eminent dance brand take over yet another iconic landmark in the city, Liverpool's Pier Head for an all-day rave event.
Speaking of the upcoming festival, Paul and Russ from K-Klass said:
"We can't even begin to tell you how excited we are to be part of ‘Cream Classical on the Waterfront’. It will be the perfect way for everyone to come together to celebrate our love for the music and events we have all missed so much over the past 12 months. We can't wait to hear the sound of our selection of Cream Classics brought to life by Tim Crooks, The Kaleidoscope Orchestra and vocalists filling the air of the city, whilst Cream's amazing production sets the Liverpool skyline ablaze with colour and light. This is going to be very special indeed!"
Notice of the new festival - announced yesterday - followed a cryptic 'sign up' message posted across the brands social media pages last week. Since then, over 40,000 people have registered for presale tickets which are due to go on sale at 9am on Friday 26th March, with general sale tickets available from 10am.
