The Gallery at the Ministry of Sound are famed for blooding new talent. After all, they gave Tiesto and Armin their first ever London gigs.
This Nu Breed night will showcase tomorrow’s trance heroes, with a strong line-up of DJs whose stars are on the rise. Taking over The Box for the evening and showing london what they're going to be dancing to in years to come are Hungary's Myon & Shane 54, Swedish star Jonas Stenberg, Irish trance DJ Paul Webster and the UK's Genix.
Hotly tipped by Armin Van Buuren, Myon & Shane 54 will be wetting your appetite with pure unadulterated trance – as per last year’s unforgettable debut. On that occasion, they played arguably the greatest Gallery anthem – a cheeky re-work of ‘Cassandra Fox – Touch Me.’ Those lush melodies epitomise the Friday night fun.
Jonas Stenberg is a familiar face, with hard hitting productions. Early 2011 saw him play alongside Markus Schulz for his birthday event, and since then he's gone from strength to strength. Track Knetter caused great natter along industry experts and clubbers alike. This hype was then picked up by Gareth Emery, who hand picked Stenberg’s new Ben Gold collaboration for inclusion in ‘The Sound Of Garuda: Chapter 2.’
Paul Webster has a familiar sound, his Corruption track catapulting him to stardom. A fractured trance sound no doubt corrupting this year’s Ibiza pilgrims, after playing Eden’s Judgement Sundays – alongside Gallery resident Judge Jules. With that track snapped up by Armin’s Captivating Records, this led to worldwide gigs including the famous Luminosity and Trance Energy events.
The UK based Genix has built up a reputation as one of the freshest dance artists with his cutting edge production and DJ sets that have cemented his name on the biggest line ups around the world, standing shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Sander Van Doorn and Judge Jules.
The Gallery Nu Breed is the only event this year, to catch the cream of today’s rising talent under one roof. Along with Ministry’s signature sound system, lasers, lights and C02 cannons, this really will be something special.
