A24’s upcoming Charli XCX mockumentary The Moment has dropped its official trailer ahead of its world premiere at next month’s Sundance Film Festival. The A24 production, directed by Aidan Zamiri and co-written by Zamiri and Bertie Brandes, depicts the singer as a fictionalised version of herself preparing for her first headline tour.
The film’s first trailer premiered last month, with both trailers using real footage from the singer’s brat tour. Aside from the mockumentary, Charli XCX has been involved with the soundtrack for Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights adaptation and is starring in Gregg Araki’s I Want Your Sex and Cathy Yan’s The Gallerist, which also premier at Sundance in the new year.
