Bubble Club documentary launches crowdfunding campaign

A new documentary exploring inclusive nightlife in London is seeking support to help bring the project to the screen.
Titled Radically Inclusive Clubbing, the film centres on Bubble Club, a long-running club night created for adults with learning disabilities and autism. The event has been running in the capital for more than two decades and has become a vital social space for its community.
The documentary combines new interviews, archive footage and creative visual storytelling to examine how nightlife can provide opportunities for self-expression, friendship and belonging. It also explores wider conversations around accessibility in club culture and the importance of creating spaces where everyone can participate.

A crowdfunding campaign has now launched to help cover the final stages of production, including editing, sound design, accessibility features and festival submissions. Organisers say the funding will also support wider distribution plans, helping the film reach audiences in a way that reflects its inclusive ethos.
Music plays a key role in the project too, with the soundtrack featuring contributions from disabled artists and labels run by disabled musicians.
The documentary arrives as accessibility remains a major issue across the live events sector. Recent research found that more than half of disabled people in the UK have avoided attending gigs because of accessibility barriers, highlighting the importance of initiatives that help make nightlife more welcoming and inclusive.
