In an era of ever expanding globalisation, The Boom Boom Club has been a successful example of presenting high quality live music in a professionally run local club with a friendly atmosphere, affordable prices and free parking.

With the generous help of Sutton Utd FC, the Boom Boom Club has established itself on the national tour circuit attracting a mix of up established international tour bands, up and coming talents and top tribute bands.

The club was a successor to the Worcester Park Club which I and the late George McFall started in 1996, with considerable help from the late Big Derek who many of you also knew. The aim was always to establish a home for quality live music. We certainly have moved on a long way from our initial surreal meeting in a room full of pigeons. But with the vision and backing of the football club and all you wonderful music fans we managed to achieve our aim.

During the first decade the club has been featured both on national radio and press and the highlights have been many, all listed on www.feenstra.co.uk

And in answer to the million dollar question as to who played here first, the answer is the Rollin Stoned who we once again feature on Sunday the 9th of September. They were closely followed by Mike Berry & The Outlaws and The Pirates who brought along with them a very special guest, Jimmy Page.

The music scene has changed considerably since those days, but our commitment remains as enthusiastic as when we started out, and as long as you keep supporting us well keep the place rocking for as long as possible.

Heres to the next ten years.
