Following on from our article last week, Bedrock ramps up the hype for its 16th birthday party by revealing who will be joining John Digweed at Electric Brixton on Saturday October 4th.
First up will be one of house and techno's most revered characters - Josh Wink. The Philadelphia based Ovum records boss has been right at the fore of techno innovation since the early nineties, with his releases finding homes on labels like Sorted, Limbo and Belgium's formidable R&S from the get-go.
Responsible for some of the scene's most notorious classics like 'Liquid Summer', 'Don't Laugh', 'I'm Ready' and of course 'Higher State of Consciousness', Josh Wink is someone that has been rocking parties for over 20 years both with his productions and mastery behind the decks, knowing exactly what it takes to get things whipped up into a frenzy. See some of that in his appearance at Space Ibiza above.
Bedrock mainstays Pig & Dan join in on the fun too, with their carefully judged deep techno and house guaranteed to cause complete pandemonium (enjoy some of that above).
Elsewhere the likes of Spencer Parker, Soul Of Noise and Neil Browne round off a reliably stonking bill to make this a fittingly huge celebration of everything Bedrock has achieved in its 16 year lifespan. Grab your Bedrock16 tickets here.
