Industry leading, digital music merchants Beatport have just unveiled their brand new, embeddable player that can be used on everything from social media to blogs and on websites. The difference between this and already existing players though is that each play will see the respective artists get financially compensated.

Beatport's Executive Director Clark Warner had this to say: “Supporting artists has been a core value at Beatport since day one, and that mission remains as we expand to serving fans with our new streaming service."

"Our embeddable streaming music player not only helps artists promote their music by making it available wherever their fans live online, but we are also taking the necessary steps to pay rights holders for each listen so artists get paid."

Beatport's foray into the streaming world will see them go up against with the likes of Soundcloud, YouTube and Spotify, the benefit over the latter being that you won't need an account to listen. Check out the new player below.
