Let our band of the week Vant sozzle your ears with some snarling lo-fi rock while simultaneously putting the world to rights.

Arrowing dissatisfaction at the powers that lie above is becoming ever-more prevalent in music. Vant are a garage rock quartet accelerating that thought, only the real headlines are channelled from their fang-glaring lo-fi rock.

The story goes that Parlophone signed them after only hearing all 80 seconds of single 'Parasite', and after only a few more they're heading on a European-wide tour this month.

Born out of lead Mattie Vant uprooting from the north east to Brighton and rediscovering his affection with punk rock, the band are now at the point of releasing their debut album.

From that they recently dropped single 'FLY-BY-ALIEN' (listen below) - a track that'll shred the skin from your knuckles whilst putting the disgraced human race down to rights rights.

We like how they think, which is why they're our band of the week and their videos sure are trippy as hell too.
