Back To Basics All Stars: 23rd Birthday

Not many clubs in the world have ever been able to boast about reaching the milestone in which Back To Basics are approaching, 23 years on the clubbing circuit. They've shaped Leeds' nightlife and created a family environment for ravers young and old, and on Saturday 29th November they celebrate their birthday with some all-time favourites at Beaver Works.

Topping the all star line up is Circoloco resident Clive Henry. As one of the true pioneers underground artists, he secured his reputation during his time as an original member of West London house mafia and then reiterated his legendary status when he secured a regular slot at DC10 spinning funky and dirty house music (check out his mix below).

Amongst the rest of the colossal names listed is Visionquest and Crosstown Rebels talent Laura Jones. The house and techno starlet firmly placed herself in the Spotlight following her summer anthem 'Love In Me' and continues to showcase her understanding of musical dynamics and composition. 

Ralph Lawson, who was the first artist to play a record at Back To Basics also sits on the line up. He's held a residency at the club for 19 years and knows the crowds like the back of his hand. He's joined by one of house music's originals, Maurice Fulton.
