August at Brudenell Social Club sees a trio of cross-Atlantic punk bands all making rare appearances.

Leeds' Brudenell Social Club drafts a trio of punk weighted heavyweights from across the Atlantic in August.
First up on Tuesday 12th, legendary San Francisco band The Tubes make a rare appearance to plug the venue with some anarchic punk slabs.
Revered for tracks like 'White Punks On Dope' (below) and their on-stage madness, the group celebrate their 40th anniversary, 38 years since their first UK tour.
On the following day, MDC continue the debauchery on the 12th with another hard to come by appearance. Previously known as Multi-Death corporation and Million Dead Cops, the hardcore punk band are renowned for transmitting their left wing political ideals via breakneck numbers that shook up eighties.
Canada's global Psychobilly phenomenons, the Creepshow, are last to hit up Leeds' Brudenell Social Club on Thursday 13th August. Their last record Life After Death - a blood sodden cut of sincere horror plots that translate raucously to the live stage - was frantically lapped up by their solid cult following dotted around the globe.
