Thursday nights will never be the same again as we go back to the time of shoulder pads, big earrings and fluro leg warmers, but most importantly the birth place of electronic music.

Hed Kandi presents:
ANTHEMS, 80s and Electronic Dance
Thursday nights at Hed Kandi, Clapham
38, Clapham High Street. London SW4 7UR
7pm - 1am
Thursday nights will never be the same again as we go back to the time of shoulder pads, big earrings and fluro leg warmers, but most importantly the birth place of electronic music. Join us for the ultimate 80s anthems each and every week.
Kick back and unwind with a delicious Hed Kandi cocktail whilst the DJs get the groove going to an 80s soundtrack of divas including the queen of pop Madonna, Chaka Khan, Gloria Estefan and Diana Ross whilst the undercurrent of electronic anthems pushes on through as the night progresses with classic forefathers of dance New Order, Grandmaster Flash, Cameo, S.O.S. Band and Talking Heads to name a few.
Hosted by local talent Soul Fools (Ed Word & Larry Sun) might be too young to remember the 80's, but with both having a keen interest in the history and foundations of electronic dance music, they are constantly looking back to see how it has evolved. They believe you must know where music comes from to know where it's going. They are regular charity shop vinyl diggers, with Ed volunteering to sort the records for British Heart Foundation just so he can get 1st dibs on everything that comes through the store. This new Thursday night residency at Hed Kandi Clapham is the perfect environment for them to spin all the classics alongside forgotten gems, so come join them for some tasty cocktails and Soul Fool vibes!
